Planet Fitness Mayorthon
The Planet Fitness Mayorthon is a four-race community race series launched by Mayor Craig Greenberg to promote fitness, healthy lifestyles & showcase the City of Louisville through unique & exclusive 5K experiences.
In collaboration with the City of Louisville & Louisville Sports Commission, The J Wagner Group Team planned & coordinated three out of four races in the Planet Fitness Mayorthon Races Series, including, Race the Runway 5.02K at Bowman Airfield, Bourbon & Beyond 5K running through the Bourbon & Beyond 5K festival site & Kentucky Kingdom & Thru the Ville 5K showcasing the iconic landmarks on the University of Louisville's Campus.
The J Wagner Group team coordinated directly with key event vendors to ensure smooth execution across all races, managed the marketing efforts for the Planet Fitness Mayorthon Race Series, focusing on driving awareness, registrations, and community excitement. Each course was designed to elevate the runner experience while remaining accessible for participants of all fitness levels. The J Wagner Group team also handled day-of operations ensuring a seamless race day for all participants.
